Besties come in all shapes and sizes

Not everyone is going to look good in a strapless dress and not everyone has the height for a tea length skirt. Unless you have bridesmaids that are all the same shape and size, then picking one style that looks good on all will be a challenge. A way to avoid this is by picking a multiway dress. If you want to stick to a theme, pick a colour, but have each bridesmaid wear the dress in the way that best suits their shape and preference. This way, everyone gets to dress in a style that’s most complimentary to them.

Your bridesmaids’ happiness is important too

Honour your bridesmaids by making them beautiful too. Your bridesmaids are your closest friends and family, they’re your squad. They must mean a lot to you for you to ask them to be bridesmaids. The dress you pick for them will matter. While as the bride, you can expect to be the center of attention on your wedding day, your bridesmaids are also thrust into the spotlight. They walk down the aisle with you and pose for photos (which you will be keeping forever). So when considering bridesmaid dresses, think about your bridemaids and whether they would like the choice you’ve made. You want them to be at ease at the very least, but why not make them feel amazing.

A “wear once” dress is a waste

Often, bridesmaid dresses have “wedding” written all over it and they end up at the back of the wardrobe after the wedding, never to be worn again. Multiway dresses are a good solution to this as the dress offers 16 different ways of wearing it. Meaning that your bridesmaid can simply tie the dress in a different way and wear it again and again to different occasions. Instead of being “waste”, the dress has become a memento from the wedding that’s enjoyed.

Don’t be intimidated by colour

You don’t have to dress all your bridesmaids in the same dress or even in the same colour. We’ve seen amazing combinations of tonal colours or even contrasting colours at weddings to know that there are no rules in weddings. Break the mould and be creative! Your wedding photos will look infinitely more interesting if you let your imagination run free.
